How Many Bags of Concrete in a Yard?
The number of concrete bags in a cubic yard depends on the bag size. Larger bags cover more volume, so you need fewer of them.

Why Bag Count Is Approximate
Different brands may have slightly different yields. Always check the yield listed on the bag and round up so you do not run short during the project.
Example
If your project needs 2 cubic yards and you are using 80 lb bags, you would need about 90 bags before waste. Adding 5–10% extra is usually a good idea.
